| With mGiving once a charity or Non Governmental Organisation
(NGO) applies and is vetted and accepted into the family of organizations
on the mGiving platform, prospective donors can donate to the organization
of their choice by sending an SMS with the organisation’s unique
mGiving ID (mGID)..
How Can NGOs & Charities Join?
1. Downlaod and complete an application form from mGiving and Return
to mGiving
2. mGiving will vet your application and confirm that your application
is successful
3. mGiving will provide the charity or NGO with its own Unique mGiving
ID (mGID) and a Short Code number for prospective donors to text
to.
4. Charity or NGO can then advertise the short code number and their
mGID inviting donors to text.
5. On a Monthly basis mGiving will produce a report of all donors
to each Charity or NGOs a cheque will then be issued to them.
Selection Criteria :
1. The Organization must be a register Charity or NGO under Nigerian
Law
2. Must provide a copy of their constitution
3. The organization must have aims and objectives that are focused
in helping less privileged or disenfranchised members or groups
in our society.
4. They must not be just Personality driven.
